October 21, 1965 - October 8, 2021
Dianna Lynn Stambaugh, 55, passed away on October 8, 2021. She was born to David L. and June L. (Goodman) Fisher on October 21, 1965 in Columbus, OH. She graduated from New Albany High School, as part of the class of '84, and led as a Quality Specialist at Aetna for over 20 years where she made a meaningful impact to her peers and customers. On October 8, 1994, she married the love her life and soulmate Lawrence W. Stambaugh, where they raised two beautiful kids, Nicole and David. Dianna had many passions, which included spending her evenings at home doing puzzle books while sitting on the couch watching TV/movies and cuddling with her favorite grand-doggy, Miya. She always said that she loved to do puzzle books because she wanted to "keep her mind sharp." Outside of the home she loved going to Myrtle Beach almost every year with her family. From when she was a kid to taking her kids and family to the Beach, she advocated for taking walks, shark tooth hunting, building sand castles, playing in the ocean, sipping piña coladas, taking tons of pictures and listening to Kenny Chesney or her husband, Lawrence, singing karaoke, with the ocean breeze in the background. She also loved going to the casino with her family, whether they would win or lose, and would come home to play some more slots on the iPad. She loved getting her home ready for family gatherings and decorating for every season. She hosted Thanksgiving at her house almost every single year and would always try at least one unique recipe (mystery as to whether it would turn out or not), while prepping food in the kitchen with her daughter and daughter in-law. As she would always say, "Always have fun, make great memories, love each other and be close to family"; which is exactly how she lived her life. She made it her priority to always be there for her family, especially her kids. She watched and yelled at every single sports game, supported extracurricular activities and celebrated every life moment with her kids, including her daughters' wedding in June 2021. She will be remembered because she lived life to the absolute fullest and brought light and positive energy with a huge smile to every room and every interaction with those around her. She was the biggest joy this world could have asked for and that's the way that she inspired those in her life to live as well. She had an impact on every person she encountered, no matter how big or small, and sought to make the most of every moment. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and never forgotten by those she loved. Dianna is preceded in passing by her mother, June (Goodman) Fisher; father, David Fisher, and sister, Cynthia (Fisher) Raney. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lawrence Stambaugh; her daughter, Nicole (Amber) Shuck; her son, David Stambaugh; her brothers, David (Linda) Fisher and Daryl (Karen) Fisher; her sister, Candace Fisher; several cousins, nieces and nephews; her favorite grand-doggy, Miya, and many other loved family and friends. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 4pm-8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. Her funeral service will take place the following afternoon at Schoedinger Northeast at 1pm, with visitation to follow until 3pm. As a memorial contribution, flowers may be sent to the funeral home or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
