A celebration of life service for Donley “Ed” Edward Paul, 84, will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:30AM at Schoedinger Funeral Home, Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Ed passed away on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital with his wife Bonnilee Paul by his side. Ed was born on October 11, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Donley J. Paul and Mildred “Jones” Paul.
He proudly served his country during WWII while serving in the Navy, seeing action in the Pacific theatre.
He retired after 44 years from the R. H. Burton Co. as an optical repairman. Avid golfer and family man he will be missed by all who knew him.
Along with his wife Bonnilee, he is survived by his children; Marsha , and Theresa; step children, Danny Durham Jr. of Columbus, Deanna Nicholson (Mark) of Galloway, Dolores Penrod of Grove City. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grand children, and great great grandchildren and other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, Ed is preceded in death by sister JoAnn Lincicome; sons Terry and Randy Paul; and step daughter Debbie Chaffin.
