Welcome to Camp Hope

While grieving is a very personal and individual process, many of us also grieve as a family. There are unique challenges to grieving on this family level, challenges created by the existing family dynamics.

  • Every year, Schoedinger provides families with an opportunity to enjoy a safe and supportive environment for families experiencing grief, while attending Camp Hope.

We bring everyone in your family together with other families, in the scenic countryside of Logan County, for a weekend of activities and conversation. The gathering is hosted by our Grief Care Director, who leads an experienced staff of camp counselors and facilitators.

  • A Place Where Families Learn to Laugh Again.

Families who experience Camp Hope find it a relaxing and supportive environment, where they realize they’re safe, appreciated and understood. Certainly, just stepping outside their everyday lives give them a unique opportunity to completely relax.

Children are given a special time to play and explore the natural world. Counselors guide both children and adults in sharing their feelings in safe group settings. They then gather entire families together for deeper exploration and healing.
